There are quite a few new books being released this week. First I want to call your attention to one I missed last week. I had my dates wrong and this was released last week. There are some great new books coming out this week. One, The Dark and Hollow Places, has been on my wish list ever since I started reading the Forest of Hands and Teeth trilogy. Lina is just like any other fifteen-year-old Lithuanian girl in 1941. She paints, she draws, she gets crushes on boys. Until one night when Soviet officers barge into her home, tearing her family from the comfortable life they've known.
