Books I Prefer to Read
Currently I am reading mostly Young Adult literature, any genre. I will include other fiction, especially horror, science fiction, and historical books. In April 2012 I have changed the focus of the blog to focus on self published authors. I will accept ARCs or finished books, and am happy to accept ebooks, I prefer they be sent to my kindle address, so contact me for the address. Please contact me if you are interested in having your book reviewed.
What to expect from my review
I blog so I can review the novels I read. My reviews are subjective and not analytical in nature. I will write about my thoughts and feelings about the books I read. I will write honest reviews so all of my posts will not be positive. I do not take pleasure in giving a negative review, but as a reviewer my integrity is important.
I use a five star rating system as follows:
Five Stars: Outstanding, amazing or unique. Don't miss
Four Stars: Excellent, interesting and/or fun. A good read
Three Stars: Average, worth reading but not a favorite
Two Stars: OK, nothing special or difficult to read
One Star: Could not finish. Do not recommend
I will post my reviews on this blog and at Amazon and Goodreads. I will provide links to the publisher, author and Twitter. If you have a video to go with the book, I will feature it on the blog along with my review. I am happy to promote your book through book giveaways and author interviews, just contact me so we can work out the details.
I will do my best to post reviews around the release of the book. If it is one of a series, I request that you send previous books in the series if I have not read them yet.
